Townsville Crocodriles sign Luke Schenscher

The Australian team Townsville Crocodriles have announced the signing of Luke Schenscher for the upcoming season. Schenscher will continue playing in the NBL after playing for the Adelaide 36ers and the Perth Wildats in the last two seasons. The Australian center, who has averaged 13.3 points and 8.4 rebounds in the NBL, played in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and the Portland Trail Blazers between 2006 and 2007.

Yi Jianlian could be traded by the New Jersey Nets

Yi Jianlin could be out of the starting lineup of the New Jersey Nets with Kiki Vandeweghe leaving the head coach duties of the team. Carl Elliot is back to the Cocodrilos de Caracas. The American guard, who played for the Venezuelan team last year, averaging 17 points and 4 assists per game, arrives from the Honka Espoo Playboys, in Finland. Elliot, who will replace Tang Hamilton, averaged there 17 points and 2.7 assists in 48 games.

Michael Beasley could be traded next summer

Michael Beasley could be playing his last games with the Miami Heat in the playoff series against the Boston Celtics. Ivan Déniz, new coach of the Trotamundos de Carabobo

Pablo Aguilar makes himself elegible for the 2010 draft

Pablo Aguilar has declared elegible in the next NBA draft. The 20-year-old Spanish forward, now in CB Granada, was reported to be already on the radar of the Minnesota Timberwolves days ago. Aguilar, who is averaging 9.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in the ACB league, could also be signed back by his former club, Real Madrid, next summer.

Valdis Valters steps down as the VEF Riga head coach for health problems
