Daniel Santiago, candidate to play for Cangrejeros de Santurce

Puerto Rican player Daniel Santiago could be back to his comecountry after being released by Turkish team Efes Pilsen. The veteran center is reported to be a candidate to play for Cangrejeros de Santurce. Capitanes de Arecibo was another team rumored to be interested in Santiago, but slammed any intention of making an offer for the center.

Alando Tucker, signed by Gallitos de Isabela

Alando Tucker, recently waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves, will play in Puerto Rico. The former NBA forward was signed by the Gallitos de Isabela to replace Devin Green, who was finally released due to a knee injury. Tucker averaged 4.1 points and 1.0 rebounds per game before being released by the Wolves.

Dwayne Mitchell is released by Hapoel Holon

Hapoel Holon has announced that Dwayne Mitchell is no longer a player of the Israeli team. The American forward will be back to the United States to fully recover of a knee injury. Mitchell was averaging 16.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 15 games with his already former team.

San Antonio Spurs, planning to sign Tiago Splitter next season

The General Manager of the San Antonio Spurs, R.C. Buford, told on TV during the game of his team against the Houston Rockets, that the Texan franchise is planning to add Tiago Splitter to the roster next season. Siauliai inks Donatas Slanina for next season

Donatas Slanina will be back to Lithuania next season. The veteran 32-year-old guard was signed by Siauliai for next season, despite of the agreement the player reached with his current team, Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia, from the Italian LegaDue. Slanina will be back to the team where he played between 1993 and 1999.

Oklahoma City Thunder sign Mustafa Shakur, to assign him back to the D-League

As expected, Oklahoma City Thunder have signed guard Mustafa Shakur for the rest of the season, but the guard will keep playing in his D-League team, the Tulsa 66ers, after being assigned there by the NBA franchise. Shakur was signed two weeks ago to a 10-day contract by the Thunder, but was released without debuting.

Washington Wizards sign Cedric Jackson to a 10-day contract

The Washington Wizards have signed another player to a 10-day contract, after the announcement of an agreement with Cartier Martin. The NBA franchise have called up guard Cedric Jackson, who was playing for the D-League team Erie BayHawks after two brief stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs.

Nathan Jawai, re-assigned to the D-League

The Australian forward Nathan Jawai is back to the D-League, after being re-assigned by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the affiliated team Sioux Falls Skyforce. The second year player appeared in two games with the Skyforce in February, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds. In the NBA, Jawai has averaged 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10 minutes per game this season.

Trikala 2000 signs Ivan Koljevic

Kavala, close to sign Cedric Simmons
