Houston Rockets sign Garrett Temple for a second 10-day contract and waive Brian Cook

Houston Rockets are taking their first decisions after the three-way trade that brought Kevin Martin, among other players, to the roster. After re-assigning guard Jermaine Taylor to the D-League, Rockets have announced that forward Brain Cook was waived after a year in the team, and that forward Garrett Temple was signed for a second 10-day contract.

Benetton, interested in signing Roko Ukic the next year

Roko Ukic, currently playing for Fenerbahce, is the main interest of Benetton Treviso for next year. The new coach of the Italian team, Jasmin Repesa, had Ukic at his orders in the Croatian National Team and in Lottomatica Roma, and would love to have Croatian guard in Treviso next year. Ukic started the season with Milwaukee Bucks, but bought out his contract to sign for Fenerbahce.

Dallas Mavericks are looking for a player to complete their roster after last days trades. Zalgiris to sign Sarunas Sakalauskas as the new head coach

Zalgiris Kaunas is still looking for a new coach after the forced resignation of Ramunas Butautas, and the chosen one could be Sarunas Sakalauskas. 49-year-old coach has been in German team Bremerhaven since 2001 until last season, and he's currrently a free agent.

Sergei Zavalyn, new coach of Azovmash

Ukrainian team Azovmash Mariupol have decided to hire Sergey Zavalyn to replace Andrei Podkovyrov, who resigned yesterday. Zavalys worked as an assistant coach for Podkovyrov and for the first Azovmash head coach this season, Rimas Girskis.

Domen Lorbek will leave Domzale to play for Lagun Aro GBC

Despite wrong and uncontrasted informations from other medias, Slovenian forward Domen Lorbek will play for the rest of the season for Spanish team Lagun Aro GBC, leaving Domzale. This will be the second stint of younger brother of Regal Barcelona player Erazem Lorbek in ACB league this season, after finishing a temporary contract with Cajasol.

Rio Grande Valley Vipers acquire Kenny Hasbrouck

Keith Brumbaugh, waived from Bakersfield Jam

D-League franchise Bakersfield Jam have decided to waive forward Keith Brumbaugh due to a left knee injury. The Jam hope to re-acquire Brumbaugh, traded recently from Sioux Falls Skyforce, before the end of the season, if the player recovers from his injury.

Houston Rockets re-assign Jermaine Taylor to D-League

Houston Rockets have announced the re-assignation of guard Jermaine Taylor to the affiliated franchise in D-League, Rio Grande Valley Vipers. This will be the second time Taylor plays in his rookie season for Vipers. In his first stint, Taylor averaged 21.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in four games before being recalled by Rockets.
