Los Angeles Lakers sign Shannon Brown to a two-year, $4.6 million contract

Shannon Brown will try to win his third NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 24-year-old guard has signed a two-year contract (second year with a player option) with the NBA franchise to return to the Lakers. Brown, who arrived on February 2009 via trade from the Charlotte Bobcats, averaged 7.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game last season.
