Rudy Fernández wants to go back to Europe, according to Sergio Scariolo

The coach of the Spanish national team, Sergio Scariolo, admitted to a Greek website that Rudy Fernández wants to leave the NBA and play in Europe next season, despite the interest of several American teams like the New York Knicks. The 25-year-old Spanish guard is unhappy in the Portland Trail Blazers, and is considering several offers from Spanish and Greek teams to go back to the European basketball. According to Scariolo, Panathinaikos would have similar chances as Real Madrid or Regal Barcelona to sign Fernández, who has also a list of five NBA teams (Knicks, Nets, Bulls, Heat and Celtics) where he would like to be traded.

Rudy doesn't have the luxury of considering offers, he is locked into the Blazers, he'll only leave if Paul Allen says so, and unless the Blazers can get something good for him, Rudy will continue to sit
