Dimitris Diamantidis extends his contract with Panathinaikos until 2013

As expected, Dimitris Diamantidis won't go anywhere next season. The captain of Panathinaikos has agreed to extend his contract with the Greek club until 2013. The 31-year-old guard could earn €5.5 million during the next three seasons in Panathinaikos. Diamantidis, in the team since 2004, averaged 9.0 points and 4.9 assists last season in the Greek A1 league.
