Golden State Warriors, close to waive Raja Bell to make room for Reggie Williams

Golden State Warriors are impressed with Reggie Williams. The forward, signed recently for two consecutive 10-day contracts, will be extended by the NBA franchise until the end of the season. To make room for Williams, Golden State will waive guard Raja Bell, who was acquired at the start of the season from Charlotte in the trade that brought Stephen Jackson to the Bobcats. Bell hasn't made his debut yet with the Warriors due to a left wrist injury.
